He’s alive, Pat Kenny’s Alive

Was anyone else really impressed with Pat Kenny (the Plank) on the Late Late Show on Friday night? In case you missed it, Kenny hosted a debate on the relevance of the Seanad, the upper house of the two tiered Irish parliamentary system. Senators David Norris and Donie Cassidy sat on stage alongside Kenny. A token anti-establishment journo, Ian O’Doherty, from the tabloid rag, the Irish Independent, was wheeled in to rattle the cages of our country’s Senators. O’Doherty did a good job in getting to the core of the debate. The attending Senator’s certainly squirmed in their seats. Kenny, clearly more suited to current affairs than pop culture, shone . For the first time (ever), he showed signs of a pulse. I never saw him so animated. Kenny managed the the Senators like an unruly bunch of toddlers. I have a newfound respect for him. I may have even found him attractive for a while; a few seconds.

  1. Can you comment on the spray tan like glow that shone from his face though? I found it quite disconcerting!!
